Cherry Mx Red Vs Brown

Jealousy is only for people who do not believe in themselves and their partners.

Cherry Mx Red Vs Brown. I'm willing to buy the HyperX Alloy Elite keyboard, but I do not know which switch to choose, I am between the Cherry MX Red and the Cherry MX Brown. Cherry MX Brown is a tactile Key switch, which gives a bumpy response when users apply pressure on or near it.

If you're looking for a basic switch such as a Red, Brown, or Blue, I would recommend staying away from Kailh switches and going for a Gateron or Outemu. Cherry MX Browns are both quiet and tactile. It is a very light switch, and not In most respects it's similar to the MX Red, save that there is a small kink in the part of the switch that presses the contacts.

It does not click or have any tactile feedback - it just moves smoothly up and down.

I'm probably alone in saying that I prefer browns for that subtle tactility. the bump is subtle enough not to bother me in movement in FPS, but it's noticeable enough to. It is a very light switch, and not In most respects it's similar to the MX Red, save that there is a small kink in the part of the switch that presses the contacts. Cherry MX Red Switches are a linear switch.
