Using Freesync With Nvidia. No point in buying AMD FreeSync Display since it won't do NVIDIA G-Sync on your NVIDIA GPU. Technically, Nvidia's new implementation of G-Sync means that you should be able to use the technology with any monitor that supports FreeSync.
It's finally happened, as of today Nvidia is actually supporting AMD's FreeSync monitor feature. Nvidia GPUs will now support FreeSync displays , with some displays enabled by default and universal support available via a manual setting change. Previously, GeForce GPUs could only synchronize their refresh rates with Nvidia's own G-Sync displays, which tend to cost much more than FreeSync.
