Uefi Vs Legacy. The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is a specification that defines a software interface between an operating system and platform firmware. Are there any downsides running my Skylake system in "Legacy" boot mode?
At least I think this is strange behavour for UEFI. Is UEFI the Powershell of Windows so to speak, allowing more security vulnerabilities? For a little school project I need Legacy boot order to take precendence over UEFI boot order.
Just booting up my system takes some time, maybe it just would be faster booting with UEFI?
