My Comp Wont Start. So once the restore was complete I started up my computer and When I put in a windows cd and go to repair it shows no restore points. Disconnect the IDE cables, enter the BIOS and set the boot sequence to start with the floppy drive.
Test that the wall outlet is active by plugging in a device (such as a lamp) that you know works and seeing if it functions properly. If the computer still does not start and exhibits the same problem, press and hold the Power button to turn off the computer. my dell desk top comp wont turn on tryed another p-s-box that was working on another cop and it would not work either but the little lite on the mother board turns Now connect power and see if you can start up and get into BIOS. Should i pull everything out to check the cpu? or can i just pop it out with everything still connected? (obviously i wont have the power or anything connected) Thanks again guys for helping me spitball some fixes.
