Ensure That A Dual Channel Xmp Bios Profile Is Enabled. I'm trying to narrow down an issue with my computer possibly being held back. So I'm really not sure anymore.
When I do go into the BIOS however I can't figure out what setting will do to check that its running at the correct speeds and in dual ch mode use cpuz memory tab spd tab will show each dimms xmp/spd profiles to see what. Is that available to me and if so where can I find it? there's no option to load XMP profiles on Acer's BIOS. XMP: Intel Extreme Memory Profile(Intel Platform).
My only other ideas is that my CPU is either overclocked and this new rig doesn't like that for some reason (although I don't think it is as I haven't.
So I've had a good look through the BIOS and I can't find anything that says XMP.
XMP can only be enabled from the BIOS. This brings me to the RAM profile. But the XMP and the dual channel are active, as you will see in the pictures, it's driving me crazy, someone has any idea??
