Maximum Pre Rendered Frames. Max pre-rendered frames helped me get rid of most of the freezes. Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames: If available, this option - previously known as 'Max Frames to Render Ahead' - controls the number of frames the CPU prepares in advanced of being rendered by the GPU.
Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames: If available, this option - previously known as 'Max Frames to Render Ahead' - controls the number of frames the CPU prepares in advanced of being rendered by the GPU. Does any of those options increases load on graphics card? Pretty much as the title suggests, I was looking around in the control panel to change the number of pre-rendered frames, but I cannot see the option anywhere.
Is there any consensus whats the best option f.
Maximum pre-rendered frames are necessary because there are times when, even the best CPUs are not able to create a command buffer on time, and the queue gives it time to catch up and the GPU can continue to display frames.

But this is really rare in the age of shader based engines and framerate judder is more.
