Astro A 40 Mic Not Working. I OG posted this to the astro foums, I though id share a little of what I did to get my headset working again. No sound coming through the headset.

Friend can't get his mic to work but Windows is detecting that it's plugged in. Although this is a common issue, you have to resolve it immediately, otherwise, it might lead to serious damages. When I'm in a party though my mic doesn't work.

This issue often caused by the outdated audio card drivers on the Windows PC.

Microphone does not work properly after Realtek Driver installation.
